There are so many different objectives when working on repairs around the house, when on a construction site or when camping that cannot be reached without relying on outdoor power products. But for the purpose of simplicity, I will focus my attention on the three pieces of equipment considered most vital for the aforementioned needs: water pumps, generators and stationary engines. Let’s see for which purposes each of these is utilized.
Water Pumps
Having a portable water pump can be very useful in many situations. It can be used to quickly pump out water from flooded basements, boats or to help irrigate your lawn and garden. Basically, they are used to transfer water from one place to another. Their utility doesn’t stop at your home however, they are also great for camping as they can be used to pump out water from any nearby natural source and help transfer it to your location. This would in turn save you a lot of time and effort since you won’t have to make constant trips as to get drinking water. They can also be useful if you want to fill up an inflatable pool.
Generators
Another useful tool for when you are out camping is to have a portable generator as they can supply power to all your devices. They can also be useful around your home in the case of a power outage. Portable generators can supply power to TVs, small appliances, power tools and lights when you are out camping. Generators are the most common outdoor power products that people bring to their camping site. Larger generators can be put to work at construction sites, where there is no other power source available, and can be used to power larger power tools such as drills, saws, paint sprayers and air compressors.
Stationary Engines
Stationary engines can be used for all sorts of tasks, they are used to power equipment that allows them to be attached, be it for the purpose of adding more power to a water pump or to use a cement mixer. Stationary engines can be used for the following appliances: cement mixers, air compressors, mowers, generator, pressure washer chippers/shredders, agricultural uses and all other tools that can be powered by a stationary engine. Stationary engines are basically all in one power tools which you can use for tasks around the house, camping and even for the purposes of construction.
