Paco Rabanne is a well-known French fashion house. It was founded in 1966 by Francisco “Paco” Rabaned Cuervo, a Spanish- born who grew up in Paris. Francisco was actually an architect, who started his career by designing jewelry for other houses. After some experimental clothing designs, he became quickly known for his amazing fashion features and the use of unconventional materials like metal and paper.
The first Paco Rabanne perfume, named Calandre, was introduced in 1969. It was created for active women and was a revolutionary perfume for its time. In 1973, the first Paco Rabanne perfume for men was introduced on the market. It was named Paco Rabanne pour homme, the first aromatic scent on the market.
